Basic Program Information:
We will incorporate science (which includes cooking activities and experiments), music, dramatics and creative movement, and math into our curriculum schedule. Please try to keep toys at home.
General goals for the year:
- To increase self-awareness and promote a positive self image.
- To increase independence - social, emotional, physical ability to care for oneself, and cope well with new situations.
- To facilitate physical development - large and small muscle coordination and eye-hand coordination.
- To encourage intellectual development - through language development and an exploration of our environment.
- To socialize and begin to understand classroom routines

This brief schedule contains the general areas we will be concentrating on this year. Sometimes particular interests or experiences may change our focus or hold us longer than expected at one place, so ..... please remember to look at the news board by the door. It will have the specific areas and concepts we will be emphasizing during the month. You may also wish to discuss, play continue this at home.
