This is Amanda’s first year at RNS&K as a teacher, but her second year as an RNS&K parent. Her daughter, Julia, is currently in the pre-kindergarten with Mrs. Moran and Mrs. Salzano. She also has a son in second grade. Amanda earned a doctorate in Teaching and Learning from New York University and a Master’s of Arts in Early Childhood Special Education from The George Washington University. She has worked on National Early Childhood projects for Head Start/Early Head Start, childcare, and home visiting programs. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her children and their friends and having adventures throughout the DC area.
